Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., "Peppa Pig" And "Puffin Rock" Nominated In The 2016 Kidscreen Awards

The children's entertainment and media news website Kidscreen has announced the exciting news that Nickelodeon has been nominated for several awards in the 2016 Kidscreen Awards, Kidscreen's annual awards ceremony which singles out and celebrate the year's best work in kids television programming and broadcasting, as well as digital media!


In the Programming: Preschool Categories, Nick Jr. UK's popular animated preschool series "Puffin Rock" has been nominated for "Best New Series" and "Best Animated Series", and "Peppa Pig: The Golden Boots" has been nominated for "Best One-Off, Special or TV Movie". Additionally, "All Hail King Julien", which airs on Nickelodeon Poland (Polska) locally titled "Niech żyje Król Julian", has been nominated for "Best New Series" and "Best Animated Series" in the Programming: Kids Categories.

In the Digital: Preschool Categories, "Peppa Pig: Golden Boots" has been nominated for "Best Game App-Tablet", Nickelodeon's "Blaze and the Monster Machines" app has been nominated for "Best Learning App-Smartphone", Nick Jr. has been nominated for "Best Streaming Video Platform" and Nickjr.com has been nominated for "Best Website". In the Digital: Kids Categories, Nick.com has been nominated for "Best Streaming Video Platform" and "Best Website".
